BIO
Since their formation in 1991, Tortharry have grown into one of the most consistent and influential death-metal bands from the Czech Republic. Their early work captured the raw ferocity of the 90s, while later albums expanded the band’s sound into more atmospheric, technical, and concept-driven territory.
Throughout their career, they have continuously refined their craft, staying true to the essence of death metal while pushing their creative boundaries.
With albums like When The Memories Are Free, Unseen, Beneath nebo Altars of Ignorance, the band proved their ability to combine brutality with modern production and thematic depth. Their 2024 release Paměť kamenů marks a milestone as the first record fully performed in Czech, reflecting their roots and offering a powerful artistic statement.
